Eric Clapton has been recognized by the Recording Academy a total of 19 times at the Grammy Awards Ceremony. He has won or shared in 18 Grammy Awards for recorded works. Six were received in 1992. In 2006, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award along with Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce for their pioneering work in the band, Cream.
