Derek & The Dominos began to gel as Eric’s new band during April / May 1970. During this time, they rehearse at his country home and play on sessions for George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass. On 14, June 1970 they gave their first performance at the Lyceum in London. The band would break up by May 1971 during sessions for their second album.

George Harrison - Guitar (Played on the session for the band’s first single on 18 June 1970)

Duane Allman - Guitar (Sessions for Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs only. August / September 1970)
Other members of the Allman Brothers Band [Gregg Allman (Keyboards), Dickey Betts (Guitar), Berry Oakley (Bass) and Butch Trucks (Drums)] jammed with Derek & The Dominos in the studio. “Key of E” Jam is available on the 20th Anniversary Issue of Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs.
