Sharon White is a vocalist based out of the U.K. Born on 13 January 1972, she moved to London at age 15 to pursue her musical career. In 1990, she signed with Jive Records and enjoyed chart success.
Sharon can be heard on numerous albums, including those by a wide variety of diverse artists. They include Emmylou Harris, Ricky Skaggs, Kimo Williams and Magellaen, Annie Lennox, Westlife, Ringo Starr, Zucchero, Herbie Hancock, Natasha Beddingfield, Michael McDonald, Corine Bailey Rae and Roxy Music. In 2003, she toured with Bryan Ferry.
Sharon joined Eric Clapton’s band in 2004. She was out on the road with Eric for the 2006 / 2007 World Tour and will be again for the Summer 2008 Tour. Sharon can be heard on Eric’s 2005 CD, Back Home. She is also featured in the DVDs from both of Eric’s Crossroads Guitar Festivals (2004 and 2007).
