Where's Eric! Issue 15

April 1996

JAPANESE and UK TOUR REVIEWS
INTERVIEW WITH POLYGRAM'S BILL LEVENSON - We talk to the man responsible for bringing you the highly-acclaimed Crossroads box set and its recently-released sequel.
CROSSROADS 2 - LIVE IN THE SEVENTIES - Marc Roberty rips off the cellophane of the new EC box set and gorges himself on a stream of Stratocaster solos.
AWARDS NIGHT - Eric was in New York City recently to pick up yet another award - Virginia Lohle was there to tell us all about it.
BIG IN JAPAN - The shows were great, the crowds were enthusiastic - everyone just had a really good time, basicaly.
OUT AND ABOUT - Eric and his band left nothing to chance, with an extensive range of pre-Albert Hall warm-up shows - Shepherd's Bush, Chiddingfold, Ronnie Scotts, everybody talk about...pop music (?)
FOR THE RECORD - Listen to Eric laying down some blues and Andy Fairweather-Low getting heavy on new releases by Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and Joe Satriani respectively.
UK TOUR REVIEW - It was more a case of Royal "Alberta, Alberta" Hall this year. Eric experiments with his set list and brings acoustic and rock back to his blues show.
LABOUR OF LOVE - Nothing But The Blues in a box. The mother of all unofficial CD releases - 10 Days, 20 CDs, 280 big ones!
THE JOURNEYMAN'S BOOT ROOM REVIEW - Our resident expert in all things unofficial casts his eye over a selection of "rare import CDs".
SEASIDE ROCK - Tony Edser dons his flares, dusts down the cheesecloth and recalls the days of 2.50 UK Pounds tickets, Morris Minors and puppet shows. That's the way to do it...
DESERT ISLAND ERIC - Janet Joule picks her all-time favourite EC tracks (plus two).
And more!
