Where's Eric! Issue 17

December 1996

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH BB KING - He's the King of the Blues, one of the great showmen of the last 50 years, and a thoroughly nice bloke too.
ERIC LIVE IN NEW YORK
RECENT VIDEO and CD RELEASES REVIEWED

DESERT ISLAND ERIC! - Another reader gives their top 10 (plus two).
THE ERIC CLAPTON REMASTERS - Polydor recently took the opportunity to re-issue 10 of Eric's albums, digitally remastered. We cast a curious eye over this bumper collection, and offer three complete sets in a great competition.
RADIOHEAD - For those readers not fortunate enough to posses a telephone, we've gained permission from Capital Radio (95.8 FM) to reprint the whole of David "Kid" Jensen's recent interview with Eric. Read here why he's not playing the RAH in '97.
FEEDBACK - Our recent critical reviews have certainly raised tempers and aroused opinions among the flock.
DRESSED TO KILL - Eric and his "new" band recently played a brief set at a Giorgio Armani fashion launch.
THE JOURNEYMAN'S BOOT ROOM - Our resident expert casts his trained eye over a number of unofficial releases, including 1996 Albert Hall shows.
STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN TRIBUTE - All the stars turned out for this one, but does the official release capture the emotions?
THE FORGOTTEN SESSIONS - In the first of a new series, we suggest a few EC appearances that may have slipped your mind.
FOR THE RECORD - EC's appearance on the Babyface album, the Rolling Stones Rock'n'Roll Circus and a Eternal single (?) all feature here.
And more!
