Pickups on Eric Clapton's Acoustic and Electric Guitars

Since 2004, Eric Clapton has been using a Carlos Juan CP-1 Pickup in the Bellezza Nera model of his Martin Signature Acoustic Guitar. These pickups are handbuilt in Germany by Carlos at his American Guitar Center.

C.F. Martin & Company has also installed Fishman / Martin Gold+ Plus Natural under-the-saddle active pickup systems in their acoustic guitars for Eric Clapton.

The Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster currently comes equipped with Fender Vintage Noiseless Pickups (neck, middle and bridge). Early incarnations had Fender Gold Lace Sensor pickups.
