Clapton To Headline 3 Sold Out Concerts in Germany & London This Week

Eric Clapton and His Band are off to Cologne and Hamburg for gigs on 2 and 3 July. They mark Eric's first performances in Germany in four years. Support is soul band Floy and The Messengers.
Then, Eric heads home to England for British Summer Time Hyde Park on Sunday, 8 July. “I have happy memories of performing in Hyde Park in the past,” says Eric, “and I’m really looking forward to playing there again – the whole atmosphere is very special.” Santana, Steve Winwood, Zucchero, Gary Clark Jr, Chas & Dave, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, folk-pop quartet The Wandering Hearts, singer-songwriter Ryan Kinder, rock & roll trio The Americans, country singer Eric Paslay and americana pop country artist Kelly McGrath all support EC. To celebrate Eric's British Summer Time appearance, Warner Music re-released Money And Cigarettes (1983), Behind The Sun (1985), August (1986) and Journeyman (1989) on vinyl on 29 June in the U.K. The four albums will be re-issued in the U.S. in September.
All three July concerts are sold out. Limited tickets are available from Ticketmaster for Eric's next shows at New York's Madison Square Garden in October. No other dates are scheduled.
