Clapton Wows New York WIth Spectacular 70th Birthday Concert

Special guests and a surprising set list had the crowd on its feet at the first of two shows celebrating Eric Clapton’s 70th Birthday at Madison Square Garden on Friday, 1 May. He and his band then delivered a show just shy of two hours touching on all aspects of the guitar maestro’s incredible history from his days in Cream to the present day.

Fans who helped Eric celebrate on Night One in New York City are invited to send in their show reviews and best photographs to info@whereseric.com. They’ll become part of the permanent archive for this concert.

Andy Fairweather Low and The Low Riders opened, starting at 8PM. Both are back at the Garden Sunday night 3 May.
