Clapton's 2013 Tour Visits Munich's Olympiahalle
Eric Clapton & His Band performed to a sold-out crowd at Munich's Olympiahalle on Sunday, 9 June. It was EC's first return to the venue since 2006; it had been a regular tour stop from 1974. Johannes F. checked in with Where's Eric!: "I saw yesterday Eric Clapton in Munich, a big hall, fully sold out. Eric was very good, he is the best on the guitar alive and that you could really see yesterday! Unfortunately, he just played one song from his new album Old Sock. But luckily all the good old ones: Layla, Tears in Heaven, My Fathers Eyes, Cocaine and I Shot The Sheriff!. It was around 2:15 hours without a break - so great!" Andy Fairweather Low joined the band for the encore, stepping on stage midway through Sunshine Of Your Love.
If you were at the Munich concert (or any others on the tour), send your review to firstname.lastname@example.org. All become a permanent part of the tour archive for EC's Fifty Years Further On Up The Road Tour. Photos are also welcome.
