EC Talks About Making The Breeze On All Things Considered

Published // 27.Jul.14

LISTEN HERE NOW! Eric Clapton recently spoke to Eric Westervelt of National Public Radio (NPR) about the recording of his new album, "The Breeze (An Appreciation of JJ Cale)" and his friendship with the late American songwriter and musician. Clapton laments that Cale is better known in Europe than his home country and reveals that one year after his passing, we still don't know the half of his songrwriting talent. NPR posits that fans who love the guitar hero's scorching electric solos and those who prefer his more mellow pop might find common ground on "The Breeze."

The interview will be broadcast during the radio station's long-running news program "All Things Considered."

"The Breeze" gets released July 28 in the U.K., July 29 in the U.S. and July 30 in Japan. It's already available in Germany, Australia and New Zealand.
