Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck Wrap Mini-Tour in Montreal

On a freezing cold evening in Montreal, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck wrapped their six-concert, four-city tour to a sold out crowd at the Bell Centre on 22 February 2010. The set list was identical to that performed the evening previous in Toronto. Jeff and his band now go on a month’s hiatus before heading to Australia for a series of concerts. Eric and his band have a few days break before Eric’s solo tour kicks off in Pittsburgh on 25 February. Kicking off those solo shows will be Roger Daltrey.

One fan who checked in early via his blackberrry said, "It was a good show. I particularly enjoyed Eric’s solo set." Another said, "When I read Jeff was playing Nessun Dorma – an OPERA song – and together they were playing Moon River, I thought it was going to be a bit boring, to be particulary honest. Both songs turned out to be amongst my favourites of the evening along with Eric’s I Shot The Sheriff and Layla. I hope they both come back to Montreal soon."
