Eric Clapton Concert Details: 12 May 2006

On 12 May 2006, EC performed a stellar show at Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield, England. Fans at the show checked in with Where’s Eric! and had this to say:

Just got back from Sheffield, and I have to say I was impressed. To say this was only the bands fifth show, they were tight… When they started Anyday the hairs stood up on the back of my neck… but the highlight of the night for me was a great version of Running on Faith.  – Paul Johnson

The set list was wonderfully varied and, I’d like to think, had something for everyone. Highlight of the show for me was the version of Milkcow Blues. Three amazing electric slide guitarists sitting and trading licks as if they were jamming in Eric’s living room ! It doesn’t matter if you’re a die-hard devotee or just a casual fan… just don’t miss this tour. – Mike Turner

Robert Cray did not join in on the encore number at this performance, as he has done on some previous evenings of the tour.

Eric and his band now head off to the Nottingham Arena for a gig on the 14th. EC starts his 7-show residency at the Royal Albert Hall on 16 May.
