Eric Clapton Concert Details: Impact Arena, Bangkok

On 15 January 2007, Eric Clapton and his band performed at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Before a capacity crowd, the 16 song set list continued to rely heavily on classic songs from "Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs" to the delight of those in attendance: "Anyday", "Little Wing", "Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad?" to name a few of Eric’s Derek and the Dominos period. The "hits" were represented by songs like "Wonderful Tonight" and "Cocaine" while the band stretched out on the blues, "Little Queen of Spades".

Naphon Chockchaipermpoonphol, who was in attendance, told Where’s Eric!, "Clapton open the show with 5 Derek & The Dominos tunes. Tell The Truth is great. Doyle played Guitar Solo with Wah-Wah Pedal in Got to Get Better in A Little While. After a few chords started in Little Wing, the crowd went crazy!!! And the last song from first electric set, Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad?. Derek Trucks done a beautiful slide solo again."

Eric’s band for this leg of the tour is: Steve Jordan (drums), Willie Weeks (bass), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar and vocals), Derek Trucks (guitar), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Tim Carmon (keyboards), Sharon White (backing vocals) and Michelle John (backing vocals).

Eric’s next show on the tour takes place 17 January in Hong Kong.
