Eric Clapton: Tokyo Budokan Night 3

19 February 2009 was Night 3 of Eric Clapton’s 7 night residency at the Budokan in Tokyo. Unlike the few rough patches in Osaka, the band has now worked all of the songs into a solid groove. Fans in the audience have reported that "I Shot The Sheriff" continued to be one of the show’s highpoints There were slight revisions to the evening’s set list with "That’s Alright" returning after an absence of one night and "Here But I’m Gone" making it’s second appearance for the tour.

Eric Clapton’s solo shows at the Budokan now go on hiatus for four nights. On 21 and 22 February, EC will team up with Jeff Beck for two special concerts at Saitama Super Arena.

A limited edition t-shirt celebrating EC’s 7 shows at the Budokan is on sale at EC’s official website, ericclapton.com to fans worldwide. It is not available at the concerts. The limited edition tee, with customized Duck Records logo and all 2009 Budokan dates on the back, is only available from the website’s online store. Duck Records is EC’s custom imprint on Warner Brothers / Reprise.
