Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2019 Announces Guitar Center Village

Back by popular demand and adding even more guitar firepower to the two-day event, Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2019 will now feature the Guitar Center Village. The Village will entertain festival ticket holders from noon on the date of their concert ticket with live performances, guitar clinics, interactive exhibits and more. The festival takes place in Dallas, Texas on September 20-21.
The Village will be will be staged on Victory Plaza at the south entrance to American Airlines Center. Festival attendees are encouraged to arrive early for the pre-show exhibitions and live performances. A concert ticket is required for admittance to the Village.
The Crossroads Village Stage, presented by Ernie Ball, will feature performances and collaborations in a master clinic format, including interaction between the artists and audience. Among the Village Stage performers will be surprise main stage artists, along with special guest guitarists such as Eric Johnson, Joe Robinson, Andy Timmons, Paul Reed Smith, Boscoe France, Bryan Ewald, Ryan McGarvey and Peterson Brothers, with others TBA. In addition, next-gen guitarists Jacob Reese Thorton and Brotherhood of the Guitar, the Ernie Ball Play Crossroads national contest winner, and Gibson’s G3 trio will make their Crossroads debut on the Village stage.
Festival attendees will be able to test drive and purchase a wide selection of vintage and new guitars and gear, including five very special Crossroads limited edition guitars: Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Blind Faith Telecaster by Todd Krause, Gibson Custom Eric Clapton 1964 Firebird I, Martin 00042EC-Z Eric Clapton Crossroads Ziricote, Martin 0042JM-C John Mayer Crossroads Cocobolo Parlor, and PRS Private Stock Carlos Santana Crossroads 2019. Importantly, a portion of the proceeds from all five guitars, and from all sales in the Guitar Center Village, will benefit the Crossroads Centre.
A dozen major exhibitors will include Guitar Center brands Acoustic/Mitchell/Markbass, along with Ernie Ball, Fender, Gibson, Martin, PRS Guitars, Ibanez, Roland/Boss, Korg/Vox/Blackstar, Marshall, and Shure, as well as Genesis Publications.

Village Stage Live Performances & Guitar Clinics: 12:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Re-Entry: Concert ticket holders will be able to exit and re-enter the Village during the following hours only: Fri. 12:00-5:30 p.m and Sat. 12:00-3:00 p.m., and must present their concert ticket each time.
Access to the Guitar Center Village is strictly limited to Crossroads concert ticket holders only on their ticketed show dates. No one without a Crossroads concert ticket will be admitted.
