Koch Entertainment To Re-Release “Ringo Rama” As 3 CD Deluxe Set

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

KOCH Entertainment is pleased to announce the November 11, 2003 re-release of Ringo Rama, Ringo Starr’s first new studio album in over six years. Upon its release in March of 2003, the CD was universally hailed as one of the drummer’s best studio albums in over two decades. Rolling Stone called it "his best work since 1973’s hit-filled Ringo," and The New York Post proclaimed it "Ringo’s best album since The Beatles shattered."

Hitting stores just one week prior to The Beatles’ Let It Be … Naked release, Ringo Rama Deluxe has been upgraded to include: Three new bonus tracks ("OK Ray," "I’m Home" and a re-mixed/re-mastered version of "Blink"), a full-fledged 40 minute interview disc hosted by Jody Denberg of KGSR/Austin and a 70-minute DVD which includes the original Ringo Rama sessions with Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Timothy B. Schmit, Shawn Colvin, The Roundheads etc. plus 20 minutes of new footage from the making of the "Never Without You" video with extensive commentary by the man himself. The aforementioned rarely seen video is also included here within and features a performance clip of Ringo and The Roundheads mixed-in with classic Beatles footage in this moving tribute to George Harrison. Furthermore, Ringo Rama Deluxe will also feature completely re-vamped artwork and will come in a beautiful deluxe soft-digi- pack.

Bob Frank, President of KOCH Entertainment says, "This deluxe edition of Ringo Rama is truly a must for all Ringo fans. It’s a multi-media extravaganza. Ringo has outdone himself once again with this beautiful album."
