Sotheby’s Auction: Items From The Collection Of Eric Clapton To Benefit Crossroads Centre

On December 10, eight lots from the personal collection of Eric Clapton will be sold as part of Sotheby’s “A Rock & Roll Anthology: From Folk To Fury” auction. All items have been signed by Eric. He writes in the catalog, “The benificiary of the sale items is the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, which opened in 1998 and which I am happy to say continues to flourish, but we do always need an influx of funds to help continue the good work being done out there. So, I am happy to use this opportunity to help Crossroads in its ongoing mission.”

The auction begins at 11AM EST on December 10 at Sotheby’s in New York City. The lots from EC’s collection are numbers 28 to 35. A print catalog is available from the auction house or items can be viewed online by searching “Eric Clapton” at sothebys.com.
