Tedeschi Trucks Band Hits The Road In Europe

Three years ago, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi dispensed with their much-loved individual bands and pooled their talents. The Tedeschi Trucks Band studio debut, Revelator, garnered a Best Blues Album Grammy and a Blues Music Award for Album of the Year. The band soon became known for amazing live performances, led by Derek’s and Susan’s soaring guitar work and Susan’s riveting vocals. Starting April 23, the Tedeschi Trucks Band will hit the road in Europe in support of their new album, Made Up Mind. 

The husband and wife team are certainly well-known to Eric Clapton’s fans around the world. Derek first worked with EC (and J.J. Cale) during the Road To Escondido sessions in August 2005. In 2006 – 2007, Derek joined EC’s band for an extensive World Tour. Both Derek and Susan performed at the 2013, 2010 and 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festivals.

From April 23 to May 2, the Tedeschi Trucks Band will be on tour in Germany, France, and The Netherlands. They’ll return to Europe in July for more dates in those countries plus additional stops in Switzerland and Italy. On some dates, they’ll team up with more EC Fan favorites – Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan and Jonny Lang. Tickets for the tour are available from the band’s website, tedeschitrucksband.com.
