What a concert last night by Eric and his great band - there were too many highlights to mention in this two hour plus show. Great solos all night  - nice changes to the set from US shows as well - we got 3 tour debuts - 2 of them were never played before live - Come Rain Or Come Shine, Further On Down The Road and a hidden gem from EC's past in Blues Power. Fantastic show!!

I have been to all Eric's concerts in Ireland since 1977 and this was the best ....what a night! The band were very tight; excellent drumming from Steve Jordon and bass from Willie Weeks. This held the grove all night. The standouts of this fantastic concert were "Got To Get Better In A Little While (Eric's playing was out of this world); Blues Power was incredible - keep on keep on rock and roll;  Little Queen of Spades was brill (Eric was doing things with his guitar that was beyond the realm of genius). Doyle is a fantastic guitar foil for Eric and they need each other to play off; timing was spot on. The backing singers are great!

Eric played two songs from Old Sock: Gotta Get Over and Further On Down The Road and they are fit well in the set list for this concert. All the hits like Cocaine, Layla and Lay Down Sally were played and they are given better treatment than the originals. Eric looks well and played non stop for 2.5 hours. Can't wait for Royal Albert Hall. Keep on rocking no matter if its fast or slow....

I have to say I was a bit skeptical going in. I thought I had over hyped the concert, but thankfully I have never been so wrong! I have watched countless live videos of Eric Clapton preforming on Youtube but after going to one of his concerts, you realize that you miss out so much! Only Eric Clapton could make his recorded songs sound bad in comparison to his songs live. That said huge credit should go the his band they were all inspirational and extremely creative. I am thankful to have had the privilege of seeing some of the best musicians of all time preform at an unforgettable show and I'll be keeping an eye out for any other concerts.

Just back from o2 Dublin show. it was my birthday so chose this show as a special treat and it was . Too any highlights to mention but have to say he played Come Rain Or Come Shine with Eric duetting beautifully with  both Paul on vocals and Doyle on guitar . He played Further On Down The Road from the new CD and a highlight for me - Blues Power
