On 15 December, a special dinner at Buckingham Palace helped mark the Duke of Edinbugh's 90th Birthday and highlighted the works of two youth charities, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) and the Outward Bound Trust, of which he is patron. Prince Philip was accompanied by The Duke of York and The Earl and Countess of Wessex. Prince Philip welcomed 180 guests to the Palace and spoke about the progress of the two charities.
