Eric Clapton has donated a pair of autographed jeans to the National Hemophilia Foundation's Celebrity Blue Jeans For Genes Auction. The mission of the National Hemophilia Foundation is education, research and advocacy on behalf of people with bleeding disorders. The foundation is based in New York City.
This is the second annual charity auction of signed celebrity blue jeans to benefit millions of men, women and children with bleeding disorders. Other "jean donors" include Beyonce, Orlando Bloom, Tobey Maguire Jessica Simpson and many others from the worlds of music, movies, television and pop culture.
Eric Clapton's jeans and those of the other celebrities are going to be available for bidding on eBay from 29 November until 9 December at www.ebay.com/bluejeansforgenes. The jeans are all one-of-a-kind. The winning bid goes to benefit the National Hemophilia Foundation’s work to find a cure for the millions of people who live with bleeding disorders and help improve the lives of those still suffering with them.
