Eric joined Gary Brooker's No Stiletto Shoes on stage for a half hour guest slot at the Chiddingfold Club, Surrey on 18 December 2004. In addition to Brooker, the band comprised of Andy Fairweather Low, guitar and vocals; Henry Spinetti, drums; Dave Bronze, bass and vocals; and Frank Mead, saxofones and harmonica.
Eric sang lead on 'Kansas City' and 'You've Got to Love Her With a Feeling'. He continued to play with the band as Brooker sang on 'Come Together' (with Fairweather-Low), 'the Weight' and 'Natural Born Sinner'.
The concert raised money for local charities.
