The Fender Crashocasters photo slide showJohn "CRASH" Matos is a NYC-based fine artist,who, through a special arrangement with Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, is painting 50 Fender Stratocaster bodies that will be assembled into full-bodied instruments by Fender Custom Shop Senior Master Builder Todd Krause and made available for sale to the general public.

Well-known as both a graffiti and fine artist, CRASH garnered the attention of the guitar world after painting Eric Clapton's "Rainbow Strat" and other Fender Stratocasters for Clapton such as "CRASH-3", which was sold at the June, 2004, Eric Clapton Crossroads Auction.
