Eric Clapton continued his summer trek through Europe with a gig at the Moon and Stars Festival in Locarno (Ticino), Switzerland on 11 July. After a short warm-up set by The Robert Cray Band, Eric took the stage. Those in attendance heard a 17 song set by Eric and his band. Always musically generous, Eric allowed guitarists Doyle Bramhall II and Derek Trucks to take extended solos and shine. Highlights from the evening included "Old Love (with Robert Cray)" and "Little Queen of Spades". Other headliners at this year's week-long Moon and Stars Festival include Depeche Mode, Eros Ramazzotti, Bryan Adams, The Who and Roger Waters.
