Eric Clapton's 2006 / 2007 World Tour picks up again in the United States on 16 September at the Xcel Energy Center in Minneapolis / St. Paul before moving on to 20 cities in the eastern United States and Canada. Stops on the first leg of the U.S. Tour include Chicago, Grand Rapids, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Birmingham, Orlando and Miami. The band will also perform in Toronto and Ottawa on this leg of the tour. Other U.S. concerts will be announced at a later date.
Eric's US Tour Band features Doyle Bramhall II and Derek Trucks on Guitar, Chris Stainton and Tim Carmon on Keyboards, Willie Weeks on Bass, Steve Jordan on Drums and backing vocals by Michelle John and Sharon White. The Robert Cray Band will be the opening act.

Following the first leg of the U.S. Tour, Eric and the band head off to Japan in November and December. In January and February, Eric will perform in New Zealand and Australia. The World Tour has already stopped in 32 European cities between 5 May and 31 July. It included an extended seven night run at London's Royal Albert Hall.
