The Derek Trucks Band takes a progressive approach to roots music, blending rock, blues, jazz, and world music into the sound that now defines the DTB. The band is known for their amazing live performances, led by Trucks' soaring guitar work, and backed by the impressive individual talents of this band. In 2006 Derek was asked to join guitar legend Eric Clapton's band for the 2006 - 2007 world tour. Derek currently divides his time between The Derek Trucks Band and The Allman Brothers Band.
The Derek Trucks Band will be supporting their 2006 release "Songlines" as well as their DVD release "Songlines Live" with an 11-date European Tour this October. On 11 October, the band kicks off the tour in London, with gigs in France, Italy, Macedonia and Germany! Check out the DTB Tour Schedule.

HOW TO ENTER:
Contest is open only to current WE! Magazine Subscribers with one entry per subscriber. Subscribers should send an email using one of these subject headers which selects the city they would like to win tickets for: DTB Contest / London, DTB Contest / Rome, OR DTB Contest / Frankfurt. Send the email to info@whereseric.com along with your full name, mailing address, daytime telephone numbers, email address, and answers to the following two questions:
1. Everyone knows that Derek Trucks uncle, Butch Trucks, is a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band. But, still another musician in the Derek Trucks Band is also related to a musician in the Allman Brothers Band. What are their names and what is their relationship?
2. What is the name of the officially released Derek & The Dominos song which features Derek's uncle, Butch Trucks, on drums?
Entrants who answer both questions correctly will be entered in a random draw for two tickets to see The Derek Trucks Band in the city indicated in their email.
When entering the competition, DO NOT FORGET to answer the two questions above! All entries without answers are automatically disqualified.
CONTEST RULES: Contest starts 23 Sept 18:00 GMT and ends 3 October 23:59 GMT. One entry per current subscriber to Where's Eric! Magazine. Entrants must select city they would attend the concert in at time of entry. Multiple entries and incomplete entries will result in disqualification. Where's Eric! is not responsible for the timeliness of delivery or electronic or computer malfunctions that may effect the delivery or content of the entry. Three winners (one for each city – London, Rome and Frankfurt) will each receive one pair of tickets to the Derek Trucks Band Concert and will be selected on 4 October in a random drawing from all correct responses for the respective city. Winner will be notified by email and phone. If winner(s) cannot be reached within 72 hours of notification, alternate winner(s) will be selected. Current subscription to Where's Eric! magazine by contest winners will be confirmed. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No substitution or cash equivalent will be made. Transportation to venue is the sole responsibility of winner; prize consists of concert tickets only. All decisions of Where's Eric! are final. London Prize: consists of two tickets to see the Derek Trucks Band on 11 October at Carling Academy, Islington. Rome Prize: consists of two tickets to see the Derek Trucks Band on 17 October at Stazione della Berra, Rome. Frankfurt Prize: consists of two tickets to see the Derek Trucks Band on 25 October at Jazzfestival Frankfurt at Hessischer Rundfunk Sendesall.
