After Alan Jackson's performance of the Eric Clapton classic "Wonderful Night" on the CMA Awards, inquiring minds wanted to know why he selected that song for the show.
"I just have always liked the song...I always thought that it would make a good country record, and I've always wanted to record it."
Alan also says the song has always been special to him because it reminds him of his wife, Denise. "It just fits us so well," he says. "There's one line in there about going to a party or something...and I tell her, 'Nobody would recognize me if you weren't with me'...so it's always kind of fit us."
