1987: EC receives The Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, a lifetime achievement award, given by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI)
1990: EC concert at the Statenhall in The Hague, Netherlands during the “Journeyman” World Tour
1993: EC wins 6 Grammy Awards in ceremonies held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California and broadcast live on CBS-TV (US) with an audience of 30 million – EC performed “Tears In Heaven” during the telecast
1999: EC performs with BB King at the 41st Annual Grammy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California – he wins his 13th Grammy for “My Father’s Eyes” and Cream’s “Disraeli Gears” is inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for recorded works
2012: EC is one of the musical guests at the memorial concert for Hubert Sumlin at the Apollo Theater in New York, New York
