Andy is a familiar figure to Eric Clapton’s fans worldwide, having joined EC’s band back in 1992. He found initial success as the lead singer and guitarist for Amen Corner and had several successive Top Ten Hits in the late sixties, including the Number One “(If Paradise is) Half as Nice”. When the band split up in 1969, Andy formed Fairweather which charted with “Natural Sinner”. Going solo after that, Andy had big hits with “Reggae Tune” “Be Bop ‘N Holla” and “Wide Eyed and Legless”. He also established himself as the go-to guitarist for a host of artists, including Roger Waters, George Harrison, Bill Wyman, Tom Jones, Roy Wood, Gerry Rafferty, Leo Sayer, Dave Edmunds, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, and Joe Satriani to name a few. Over the years, he’s also worked extensively with producer Glyn Johns on a wide variety of recording projects.

Andy released his first solo album in 24 years, Sweet Soulful Music in 2006 and returned to the nomadic life of a touring musician with The Low Riders. The Very Best of Andy Fairweather Low was released on CD in 2008, as was the DVD Live in Concert. Zone-O-Tone followed in 2013.

The Low Riders are Nick Pentelow (Sax), Paul Beavis (Drums) and Dave Bronze – another Clapton Band alum – on Bass and Vocals
