Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders To Support Eric Clapton

Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders will support Eric Clapton on all of his May 2011 solo dates and for Eric’s concerts with Steve Winwood at the Royal Albert Hall (26 May to 1 June). Andy is a familiar face to Clapton fans worldwide as he was an integral part of Eric’s touring and recording bands from 1992 to 2003 and again in May 2009. Andy first came to prominence as the lead vocalist / guitarist for Amen Corner in the sixties. In the following decade, he had a string of solo hits. Over the course of his career, he’s toured and recorded with Roger Waters, Pete Townshend, Bill Wyman and more. His most recent solo album is Sweet Soulful Music. Holding down the bass line in The Low Riders is another Clapton-band alum, Dave Bronze. Other band members are Paul Beavis (drums) and Nick Pentelow (saxophone).
