Clapton Concert Details: Washington D.C.

On 10 October, Eric Clapton’s 2006/2007 World Tour stopped at the Verizon Center (formerly the MCI Center), in Washington D.C. Eric and his band took the stage at approximately 8:30PM before a capacity crowd of 20,000. One of the newer US Arenas, it boasts better acoustics than many of the older venues that dot the country. The 17 song setlist – with almost 1/3 of them drawn from Eric’s Derek and the Dominos days – was identical to the one performed in Philadelpiha the previous evening. According to fans in attendance, the highlights were again I Shot The Sheriff, Got To Get Better In A Little While and Little Queen of Spades.

In the next issue of Where’s Eric! Magazine (Issue 39 / November), the Where’s Eric! Team will bring fans around the world the details from the European leg of the tour along with the first part of the U.S. as they hit the road to catch EC in concert.
