Clapton Rocks The RBC Center!

Eric Clapton and his band played the 20,000 seat RBC Center, in Raleigh, North Carolina on 15 October 2006. As with previous dates, the Raleigh list included gems from Clapton’s extensive back catalog and more recent material, like "Little Queen Of Spades," from "Sessions for Robert J." (2004). Reports from Raleigh indicate that "Old Love", the three-way slide guitar duel "Motherless Child" was one of the stand-outs. Although there were no changes in the setlist, Eric did break out a Gibson ES335 in the latter part of the show for three songs. The tour now moves on to Charlotte, North Carolina for a concert on Tuesday, 17 October.

The Robert Cray Band opens.
