Clapton / Winwood Continue Trek In Texas

Following a show in Dallas on 23 June 2009, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood and their band headed to Houston for a show on 24 June. One fan emailed Where’s Eric! to say, "On my way home from Houston concert. Freaking awesome! Winwood played Low Spark in place of Georgia! Pure perfection and a huge surprise!". Another wrote in, "A super show from the beginning to the end … Chris laid down some great keyboard leads, Abe’s drumming was killer, and Willie’s bass anchored the foundation of a show that was simply incredible. The last time I saw Eric was the From the Cradle tour and clearly, Eric has lost nothing in the past 15 years."

In addition to Steve’s solo version of "Low Spark," "There’s A River" replaced "No Face No Name No Number" at this performance.

Only four shows remain on the tour: Glendale AZ (26 June), Las Vegas NV (27 June), Oakland CA (29 June) and Los Angeles CA (30 June).
