Crossroads Guitar Festival To Have A Festival Village. Exciting Raffle with proceeds going to Crossroads Centre at Antigua Announced.

Back by popular demand at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival is a Festival Village. Hosted by Guitar Center, it will feature over twenty guitar-centric exhibitions including guitar manufacturers, amplification and gear brands. Guitar Center will also be bringing back it’s "Legends Collection" of vintage guitars including Eric’s "Blackie" Fender Stratocaster, his cherry red Gibson ES-335, Stevie Ray Vaughan’s "Lenny" and other rare instruments. The Village’s Ernie Ball Stage will host a series of Master Guitar Clinics from 10AM until mid-afternoon. The Ryan McGarvey Band, winners of the Ernie Ball Play Crossroads Contest, will perform on the stage.

As festival goers move from exhibitor tent to exhibitor tent in the VIllage, they can take part in the Village Raffle, with all proceeds going to Crossroads Centre Antigua. Some exhibitors will have a raffle item on display and one raffle item will be a guitar once owned and played by Eric Clapton! Raffle tickets will be purchased at the T-Mobile tent for two dollars each or six for ten dollars. Buy as many raffle tickets as you want and enter to win in as many tents as you like, or place all your tickets on the Clapton guitar. Winners can pick up their prizes at the box office after they are contacted at the phone number they provide on the raffle tickets. (Raffle items subject to change).

Special merchandise tents will have a variety of Festival gear, including a limited edition silk screen print. Food and beverages will be located throughout the Village based on a "Taste of Chicago" theme.

Most importantly, key personnel from the Crossroads Centre at Antigua will be on site in the Village to provide confidential information on the Centre’s world-renowned rehabilitation and treatment services for those suffering from addictive behaviors. You can also find out how to get involved and support the Crossroads Foundation beyond the festival, a cause that Eric has called the most important work of his life.

The Village will be open from 10AM to 6PM on 26 June and will be located at the main entrance to Toyota Park. It is free to everyone who has a ticket to 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival, which is presented by T-Mobile myTouch.
