EC Adds Third 2022 Italian Concert. Pre-Sale Starts 20 May

After selling out his first two shows in Italy, Eric Clapton adds a third show for 2022 by popular demand.

EC was supposed to return to Italian stages in 2020, but the two shows were postponed twice due to the pandemic. They now happen on 18 May 2022 in Milan and 20 May 2022 in Bologna.

To satisfy the numerous requests of his Italian fans, EC has added a third concert in Italy which will also take place in Bologna. Accompanied by his always superb band of musicians, EC will take the stage at Bologna’s Unipol Arena on Saturday 21 May 2022 giving even more fans the opportunity to applaud his return to the Italian scene. Concert-goers will be taken on an incomparable musical journey featuring some of the musician’s most famous songs and blues standards.

Eric Clapton has sold 280 million albums and his music has touched millions of people around the world since he joined The Yardbirds in 1963. His decades-long career as a professional musician has seen numerous bands, countless sold out shows, an abundance of albums with hits like “Wonderful Tonight,” “I Shot the Sheriff,” “Tears in Heaven,” “Cocaine,” and “Layla” plus an impressive array of worldwide accolades including 17 Grammy Awards. He is also the only artist who’s been honoured three times by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Tickets for this highly anticipated third concert will go on sale starting Thursday 20 May at 09.00 CEST through a presale dedicated to Virgin Radio listeners.
