EC Featured On “Sheryl: Music From The Feature Documentary”

SHERYL premieres May 6 on Showtime and on-demand.  Companion album is released the same day. 

SHERYL, a feature-length documentary about singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow’s life and career, premieres on Showtime this Friday, May 6 at 9 PM ET/PT and on-demand.

Director Amy Scott navigates Crow’s seminal yet hard-fought musical career battling sexism, depression, perfectionism, breast cancer, and the price of fame – before harnessing the power of her gift.

The story is told through present-day interviews with Crow, behind-the-scenes verité on the road and in her studio, never before seen archival footage spanning 20 years of touring, and interviews with Keith Richards, Laura Dern, Joe Walsh, Emmylou Harris, Brandi Carlile and others.

“I am excited for the premiere of my documentary,” said Crow. “I hope people will find strength and courage through my story. It was a journey through years and years of incredible memories, and I am proud of the beautiful documentary that Amy Scott made about my life.”

In conjunction with the documentary premiere, a new album called Sheryl: Music From The Feature Documentary will be released digitally and on 2CD. It features her biggest hits, including “If It Makes You Happy,” “Soak Up The Sun,” “All I Wanna Do,” and “My Favorite Mistake,” as well as deep tracks like “Beware of Darkness” which features Brandi Carlile, Eric Clapton and Sting, plus three newly recorded songs.
