EC Joins Jimmie Vaughan Trio On Stage

[Set Details Added 8/20/18]  On Saturday, August 18, Eric Clapton sat in with the Jimmie Vaughan Trio in Columbus, Ohio. The trio (and their very special guest) headlined the Project Blues Review which raised funds for the Columbus Cancer Clinic. Eric joined Jimmie, Mike Flanigin and George Rains for three songs at the beginning of the gig: Rock Lil’ Girl, Dirty Work At The Crossroads and Roll, Roll, Roll. After Eric left the stage, the trio continued with their regular set.

Project Blues is a philanthropic organization focused on meaningful projects related to Blues music that raises awareness and funding to help people impacted by cancer but without resources connect with resources that can help them. Project Blues partners with LifeCare Alliance’s Columbus Cancer Clinic to fund mammograms, adopt families and lift the spirits of their patients through the Blues.

The gig took place at the LifeCare Alliance Center.
