“Edge of Darkness” Now Available In The U.S. and Canada on DVD. Musical Score by Eric Clapton and Michael Kamen.

"Edge of Darkness", the six-part 1985 BBC produced drama, is finally available in the United States and Canada on a two-disc Region 1 DVD. Long available in the UK on VHS and DVD, it stars Bob Peck, Joe Don Baker, Charles Kay, Ian McNeice, and Joanne Whalley. The score was composed by Eric Clapton and Michael Kamen. The thriller’s plot revolves around a police detective who investigates the murder of his own daughter and becomes embroiled in a vast conspiracy. "Edge of Darkness" won six BAFTA Awards in 1986, including Best Original Television Music, which was awarded to Eric Clapton and Michael Kamen. DVD extras include is a music-only audio option and highlights from the 1986 BAFTA Awards.
