Eric Clapton: Night 4 at Royal Albert Hall

Wednesday 20 May 2009 marked night four of Eric Clapton’s 11-night residency at the Royal Albert Hall. There was a minor change to the set list with "Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out" replacing "Lay Down Sally." One fan who checked in with Where’s Eric! shortly after the show ended remarked that "as usual for this tour, ‘Old Love,’ "I Shot The Sheriff,’ ‘Little Queen of Spades’ and ‘Cocaine’ were the evening’s highlights. But, I wish Eric would revamp the set list a bit."

At the start of the "sit down set," Eric announced to the crowd that it was his Aunt Sylvia’s birthday. The sell out crowd responded by singing "Happy Birthday" to her! Roger Waters and Billy Gibbons attended the concert, but did not join Eric on stage.

Show number five at the Royal Albert Hall happens Friday 22 May 2009. The Arc Angels open.
