Eric Clapton Unplugged To Be Released On Vinyl On “Record Store Day”

On 16 April 2011 – Record Store Day – Warner Brothers Records will release a variety of singles and albums on vinyl. The celebration honors the independently-owned record stores around the world. There are over 700 such stores in the U.S. alone! The label is currently prepping Eric Clapton: Unplugged as a two record set pressed on 180-gram vinyl with mastering by Bernie Grundman. To date, Unplugged has sold over 10 million copies and garnered numerous awards, including several Grammys. It was initially released in 1992. Warner Brothers will also be releasing albums that day by Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Deftones, The Flaming Lips and more. All of the vinyl albums and singles produced for Record Store Day are pressed in limited quantities and sell out fast.
