Final night of the Backless Tour. Filmed with one camera and on two-track Nagra audio recorder.
The band travelled in private rail carriages hired from the Orient Express for the European Leg of the Backless Tour. Filmmaker Rex Pike was given unprecidented access on-state and off to film a fly-on-the-wall style documentary. Over 120 rolls of film were shot across Europe and in England. Edited to roughly 2 hours, "Eric Clapton And His Rolling Hotel" was shown at a few film festivals, but never released.
