This concert was announced on 14 June 2021. It will be EC's first public performance following the pandemic. His last live appearance was on 3 March 2020 at the Music for Marsden Benefit Concert at the O2 in London. EC's last concert tour was a limited run of dates in the US in September 2019.
The concert featured the debut of two new songs, both in the acoustic set: "Kerry" and "Man of the World" (a Fleetwood Mac cover). It was reported to WE! that the band's set list appeared to have two alternate song choices: "Long Distance Call" or "Before You Accuse Me"
